Our occupational therapy program addresses activities of normal living that are hindered by a debilitating physical or neurological condition. For example, patients who have suffered a stroke, a slip and fall injury, or cognitive decline may benefit from occupational therapy.
Our occupational therapist will assess your health conditions and how they impact your ability to participate in normal activities of daily living. We provide our patients with individualized and specific plans of care for strengthening, balance improvement, home safety, adaptive equipment use, and family/caregiver education for a safe transition home.
Our care team can assist you in the following areas, as examples of activities of daily living. Housekeeping tasks, cooking/meal prep, laundry, and financial management/paying bills. Managing medications, bathing, dressing, hygiene, and toileting. Leisure pursuits such as computer use, needlework, artwork, and gardening.
God’s creation. Designed to function at its full potential.
