When searching for a Skilled Nursing Facility, it’s important to consider the star rating of that facility prior to making your decision.
Maranatha Village is proud of our 5-Star rating and would like to take this opportunity to explain what determines this rating.
Nine years ago, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services introduced its Nursing Home Compare five-star system to assist the public in identifying meaningful distinctions among skilled nursing providers. This rating is based on health surveys, staffing numbers and quality measures. The system was designed to be an objective measure of operators and facility quality. It is rated on a scale of 1-5, with 5 being the highest quality a facility can receive.
According to CMS, the rating system gives consumers, patients, residents and family members a broad overview of how nursing homes are assessed for quality and assists these individuals in making informed decisions on which nursing homes to consider for needed services.
We take pride in receiving the highest possible rating based on core metrics including: health inspection rating, staffing rating and quality measure rating as defined by the CMS. We welcome and encourage you to review these ratings on (Medicare.gov nursing home compare) prior to choosing a facility.
Have a blessed day!
